(55º) Amaro, Italian for bitter, is an herbal lique ur produced by macerating dried herbs, roots, flowers, bark and citrus peels in alcohol and then blending it with a mixture of sugar, alcohol and caramel. An ideal after dinner drink that can also be served mixed in cocktails.

Amaro Lucano was created in 1894 from a secret recipe that has been handed down from generation to generation in the Vena family. Thanks to the skilful blend of more than 30 herbs it has a decisive taste that is perfect for all occasions. It can be enjoyed neat, chilled, with ice or orange zest. Perfect as a base for cocktails.
