This champagne is a brightly sparkling, light golde n yellow liquid with an abundance of fine and elegant bubbles. The nose reveals initial aromas of ripe fresh fruit (white and yellow peaches, apricots), tropical notes (lychee and pineapple). It then opens up with the fragrance of vanilla before developing notes of milky caramel, breadcrumbs and yeast, culminating in aromas of dried fruit and honey. An explosion of freshness in the mouth, followed by strong persistence. The complex aromas of fresh fruit and caramel perpetuate the intensity.
Mumm s familiar nonvintage Brut is moving towards dryness. With its mineral texture, the white fruits and citrus are shaped by tight acidity. Crisp and packed with fruit, this wine is attractive, bright and ready to drink.
The NV Brut Cordon Rouge opens with attractive, open aromatics that suggest a level of ripeness that doesn? quite come through on the palate. Still, this fresh, perfumed Champagne is a solid effort in its price range. Peaches, apricots and flowers and complexity on the finish. This is Lot: 1338 L1390907471, no disgorgement date provided.
